MER specifies larger generators for a given application than our competitors. This does two things for you: 1-More copper in the generator will start a larger electric motor per horsepower. This reduces your maintenance cost over time. 2- More copper reduces fuel-burning electrical resistance to save you fuel.
ENGINE FEATURES:
- Hydraulic valve lifters with automatic adjustment eliminate the need for valve adjustment and lowers engine noise level while reducing operating costs. No expensive tune-ups required!
- D.C. Electrical-12 Volt, 70 Amp Bosch alternator, electric start/stop panel with pre-wired plug-together controls. Automatic safety shutdown system triggered by low oil pressure or high water temperature conditions, for engine protection.
- Electronically controlled fuel injection governor achieves the lowest possible fuel consumption and perfect 60 Hz output from no load to full load. Internal unit injection pumps eliminate high pressure lines to minimize leak paths and further reduce engine noise. Higher pressure fuel system saves fuel expense.
