MER specifies larger generators for a given application than our competitors. This does two things for you: 1-More copper in the generator will start a larger electric motor per horsepower. This reduces your maintenance cost over time. 2- More copper reduces fuel-burning electrical resistance to save you fuel.

  • Deluxe MER instrument panel is standard equipment, with 4 Murphy Switch-gauges, pre-wired for easy plug-together installation. This panel is the most durable and dependable type on the market-and it requires zero maintenance expense.
  • New generation independent fuel injection pumps, automatic air bleeding, and equalized fuel lines achieve the lowest possible smoke and exhaust emissions. Fuel consumption is only .359 Lbs/HP-HR 1.58gph @ full load - Makes the MG-21.3LE2 fuel efficiency best in Class. This will save thousands of dollars over the life of the equipment.
  • Easy starting in all weather conditions, with electric intake air preheating.
  • Wet, jacketed exhaust manifold for a cooler and quieter environment for vessel and crew.  Reduced external connections eliminate hoses and fittings that can leak or break.
  • The L series engines meet all EPA Interim Tier IV emission standards for commercial installations.
